Moller Auto Baltic in Latvia provides accounting services to all Moller Mobility Group companies in Latvia: importer, dealers, real estate and other holding companies. Moller Mobility Group in Latvia is represented by two brands – Audi and Volkswagen. The companies are engaged in the import and sale of new and used vehicles, the sale of spare parts, and the provision of service and maintenance.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a positive “can-do” attitude to oversee accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance, support the Chief Accountant with daily tasks.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure full accounting cycle management and oversight (incoming/ outgoing invoices, assets, liabilities, etc.); perform day-to-day transaction booking as part of the accounting process
• Manage monthly accruals, general ledger transactions, and ensure all entries are recorded accurately and completely
• Prepare and submit tax declarations (VAT, CIT, etc.) in accordance with Latvian legislation
• Organize the preparation and audit of annual reports
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and continuously improve bookkeeping and document-flow processes
• Provide daily support to the Chief Accountant and accounting team

What You Need For This Role:

• Demonstrated experience in international companies, with a solid understanding of accounting in accordance with local GAAP and its practical application
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities effectively, and maintain strong organizational discipline while meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both Latvian and English, in written and verbal form
• A collaborative team player with strong empathy, capable of working independently when required
• High proficiency in SAP; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills accompanied by strong analytical capabilities
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
